Margaret Hamilton has died at 90.
She was one of the women who helped put humans on the Moon — and one of the pioneers who helped define what software engineering would become.
We’ve talked about Margaret twice on Breaking the 20%.
“Error 1202” told the story in Greek.
“Burn, Baby, Burn” told the same story in English.
Two episodes about her work, her story, and the extraordinary role she played in Apollo.
And now, sadly, we have to say goodbye.
Thank you, Margaret, for writing code that helped take us to the Moon — and for showing generations of women what was possible.
